Maluri (also known as Taman Maluri) is one of the main housing estates in the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, near the state border to Selangor. It can be accessed through the Maluri LRT station on the Ampang Line. It is the closest housing estate to Kuala Lumpur's Golden Triangle and is accessed via Jalan Cochrane, Jalan Perkasa, Jalan Cheras and MRR2 via Pandan Jaya. The Jusco Shopping Centre is a popular shopping mall in Maluri.
AECO Technologies is also a prominent landmark in this business area, sporting a bright blue "Garmin" banner at their shop front. Taman Maluri is also the workplace of "Crazy Kelly", notoriously known for wanting to walk incredibly long distances for lunch.
It houses a number of public schools, private schools and international ones. Most notable is Sri Garden Kuala Lumpur, which has a private school and international school on the same campus.
Hotel Maluri is situated close to Peel Road Govt. Quarters.
Due to its proximity to the Golden Triangle and its various access points very seldom does one find landed properties on sale as most residents tend to hold on to them.
